This page explains how to request deletion of an eeSee account and the personal information connected to it. The eeSee Privacy Policy states the same terms.
Your organization manages your account
Accounts are managed by the organization you work with. An organization that uses eeSee creates or approves your account and decides what you can see and do. You can ask your organization to end your access, or you can send us a deletion request.
How to request deletion
Send your request by email: hello@eesee.app
Email hello@eesee.app with the subject "eeSee account deletion" or "eeSee privacy request." Include your account email and organization name so we can identify the account. Do not send your password, authentication codes, or identity documents unless we arrange a secure verification method with you. You can make a request without reinstalling the app.
We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with your organization. We will explain any information that must be retained and the reason.
What we erase
When we erase an account, we remove the sign-in identity and organization memberships and clear identifying fields from the user profile. Historical reports and their uploads are not deleted automatically by that process. A request to delete personal information also covers identifying content in those records, files, operational logs, and backups. We do not treat account deactivation alone as completion of a deletion request.
What your organization keeps
Submitted event reports, sales and sampling results, event photos, expense receipts, and other submitted work are business records of the organization that assigned the work. Those records belong to that organization. If your account is disabled or your access ends, the organization keeps those records. Disabling an account does not withdraw or delete your submitted work.
We keep information according to its purpose, the organization's documented recordkeeping needs, and applicable legal, security, and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention varies by record type. We coordinate requests that affect submitted work with the organization and explain any applicable retention reason.
Deactivation is a different process
Account deactivation and personal-information deletion are different processes. Deactivation stops further use of the account. A privacy deletion request is reviewed separately. We check whether identifying information can be removed or anonymized while the organization keeps records it legitimately needs.
