Bleudoctype, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides eeSee, a service that helps organizations and their field representatives manage assignments, schedules, event reports, photos, expenses, and related work. This policy explains how we handle personal information through the eeSee Android app, the eeSee website, and the connected services that support them.
Your organization and eeSee
You generally use eeSee through a participating organization. That organization determines your assignments, access permissions, and how it uses work information submitted through the service. Its own privacy notices and retention requirements may also apply.
We operate the service and process information to support those workflows. Contact your organization about its use of your employment, contractor, or event records. Contact us about the operation of eeSee or for help with a privacy request.
Information we process
- Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, account identifiers, organization membership, access role, sign-in information, and profile details you or your organization provide. Depending on the workflow, your profile may include an address, date of birth, photographs, biography, or professional certification documents.
- Work information: assignments, schedules, venues, products, event start and end activity, customer-interaction counts, samples, sales, event observations, notes, report drafts, submitted reports, and expense amounts.
- Photos, receipts, and documents: files you capture, select, upload, or share through eeSee, along with associated file information. Uploads may contain personal information visible in the image or document. Please avoid including unrelated personal information or sensitive payment details.
- Approximate location: if you choose the weather-suggestion feature and grant permission, the Android app obtains approximate device location to request a local forecast. You can enter weather manually instead. The app does not request background location permission and does not track your movements.
- Technical and service information: network information such as IP addresses, request and authentication records, errors, and service diagnostics. The app also sends limited synchronization and upload metrics, such as queue depth, retry counts, and outcomes. Those metrics exclude report text, filenames, and authentication tokens.
Information may come from you, your organization, your device, or your interactions with the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, manage access, display assignments and schedules, save and synchronize work, process reports and uploads, support expense workflows, provide requested weather suggestions, communicate about your account or work, respond to support requests, and maintain service reliability and security.
We also use information when necessary to investigate misuse, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Permissions, device storage, and biometrics
Camera and photo-selection features let you capture or choose files for a report or profile. Location access is optional and used only for weather suggestions. You can manage permissions in Android settings. If you decline a permission, the related feature may not work.
The app stores account session information, cached work, drafts, and pending uploads on your device so it can restore work and retry synchronization. If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, unsynchronized work may be lost. This does not delete information already stored on our servers.
If you enable biometric unlock, Android performs the biometric check. eeSee receives only the authentication result. It never receives your fingerprint or face template. Profile photographs you choose to upload are separate from device biometric unlock.
Retention and deletion
Submitted event reports, sales and sampling results, event photos, expense receipts, and other submitted work are business records of the organization that assigned the work. Those records belong to that organization. If your account is disabled or your access ends, the organization keeps those records. Disabling an account does not withdraw or delete your submitted work.
Account deactivation and personal-information deletion are different processes. Deactivation stops further use of the account. A privacy deletion request is reviewed separately. We check whether identifying information can be removed or anonymized while the organization keeps records it legitimately needs.
We keep information according to its purpose, the organization's documented recordkeeping needs, and applicable legal, security, and dispute-resolution requirements. Retention varies by record type. We coordinate requests that affect submitted work with the organization and explain any applicable retention reason.
When we erase an account, we remove the sign-in identity and organization memberships and clear identifying fields from the user profile. Historical reports and their uploads are not deleted automatically by that process. A request to delete personal information also covers identifying content in those records, files, operational logs, and backups. We do not treat account deactivation alone as completion of a deletion request.
Request account or data deletion
Email hello@eesee.app with the subject "eeSee account deletion" or "eeSee privacy request." Include your account email and organization name so we can identify the account. Do not send your password, authentication codes, or identity documents unless we arrange a secure verification method with you. You can make a request without reinstalling the app.
We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with your organization. We will explain any information that must be retained and the reason. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information. Use the same email address for those requests.
Security and processing locations
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and account credentials secure.
Our service providers process information in the United States and in other locations where they operate. Privacy laws there may differ from the laws where you live.
Children
eeSee is intended for organizational field work, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Your organization may set additional age or eligibility requirements for its work.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. We post the updated policy with its effective date and give additional notice when applicable law requires it.
